The Big Ticket

I went to The Big Ticket concert here in Jacksonville with my sisters last weekend and it was seriously gorgeous weather. Sometimes, Florida can really show out. There was just enough sunshine and warmth for it to be cozy and lovely and perfect for an outdoor concert.

Grouplove was AH-mazing. Blew my mind. Of Monsters and Men was of course, too lovely. And Fun was just that. I'm not a really huge fan of Fun's music, but they put on a good show.

Grouplove rocks my socks.

What's that town called?

blouse/LushviaWolfgang  loafers/Wanted  shorts/thrifted  bracelets/handmade

SUCH….an amazing weekend. Whew. I am certainly exhausted from travelling and running all over Savannah. I just adore that city…le sigh. I could totally live in Savannah, if it were just a wee bit bigger. But, I went with my two best friends for one’s birthday celebration and we did the place up right. J The entire day consisted of coffee, shopping, tea, more thrift shopping, cafes, drinks, people watching in the park, a GORGEOUS sunset on the roof, and the best tacos I’ve ever eaten in my life.

The Paris Market on Broughton.

Studded loafers. :)

French Marshmallows!

80's Party at Civvies.

Needless to say, I dressed fairly casual for all the walking I knew we’d be doing. But, I’m pretty obsessed with this Lush shirt from Wolfgang and I think it’s pretty rad dressed down with these thrifted denim shorts. Oh, and these Wanted studded shoes!! I finally got them in the mail last week. Amazingly comfortable. Totally withstood hours and hours of foot travel. J

Marc Jacobs lust.

Firefly Cafe

Basement bar love.

Savannah Candy Kitchen...yummmmm.

Monster Cookie.

Rocks on the Rooftop. Best bar in Savannah...and almost anywhere else.

Sunset.

Chicken tacos with fig sauce. Salivating.

Best purchase ever. So lovely.

One of the best parts of road trips is always the drive. We were so eager to be there on the way, some pretty amazing conversation ensued. (Insert sarcasm here.) At some point there was a conversation about a new town on an exit called Horse Stamp Punch Road. (wtf?!) Yeah, but what’s the town going to be called? Hmm…welcome to Georgia, folks.

Mismatch

Typically, I do not like to match. I personally can’t wear outfits with like the same color purse and shoes and jewelry. But, that’s me. More eclectic ensembles with different textures and tones appeal to me. (Tonal dressing, anyone?)

However, I couldn’t help but put on these stacked heel loafers and this blazer. Honestly, they aren’t the same exact color, so it was a little off, which I totally loved! The blazer is more rust and the shoes are scarlet. :) (nitpick)

I realize it’s right on the verge of matching, but with this casual t-shirt and washed out and rolled up jeans, I thought it was perfect.  By the way, this Marc Jacobs t-shirt is the comfiest item I own. It’s a boy shirt. You can probably tell by the rise of the collar. (It’s very high on my neck.) They always get the comfy stuff, though. Why can’t we be comfy and on trend sometimes?! I like the sort of masculine look of the t-shirt and blazer and then these shoes, which are like a woman version of a smoking shoe? I also realize that I've incorporated like....every major retailer in this outfit. Oops. :/ LOL

Easter is tomorrow! I’m SO excited about my Easter dress. Yay. Family photos galore shall ensue.
